Human performance and cognition

IISRI are global innovators in human performance and cognition monitoring systems – developing intelligent systems that respond and interact with our minds and bodies to tackle tasks with efficiency and precision.

Companies and government bodies in the areas of security, emergency services and health, are turning to intelligent systems to maintain high levels of performance in the workforce. However, to design and engineer intelligent systems related to the human mind and body, human performance and cognition research is essential.

At IISRI, we are global innovators of human performance and cognition monitoring and use a combination of techniques – such as eye tracking, human motion analysis, motion capture, and respiration rate – to monitor and capture data to design and engineer intelligent systems that have the potential to change the world.

In other work, we analyse the characterisation of the general state of mind, using methods such as Electroencephalography (EEG), which measures brain activity during the cognitive processing of a sensory, motor or cognitive task.

Our work in these areas has led to the development of the world’s first all-in-one human performance and cognition monitoring platform – IISRI’s HUman Monitoring System (HUMS) – which has been used across our human performance research projects.

HUMS - world’s first all-in-one platform for human performance monitoring

Modular, intuitive, flexible and easy to use, IISRI’s Human Monitoring System (HUMS) is an advanced, all-in-one-platform, physiological, physical, and psychological monitoring system.

iPupilX – a new level of intelligence

IISRI’s iPupilX eye tracking technology is a wearable eye-tracking device that uses the information generated through changes in the wearer’s pupil to monitor attention and focus levels.

AIS Intelligent Swim Sensor – a competitive advantage

Elite swimmers are always seeking the winning edge – and together with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), IISRI has harnessed its human performance research to design and develop an intelligent system that allows swimmers to access specialist coaching wherever the location.

Research – Development – Commercial Ready

IISRI has a proven track record of achieving outstanding results in its three key pillars of Research, Development, and Commercial Ready. We work closely with companies, government and community to deliver products and services that are agile, adaptive and applicable in dynamic, real-world environments. Contact us to learn more.
